Finrely turns the data already sitting in your accounting system - Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, or Xero - into a live, multi-currency management dashboard, AI-grounded insights, and a board-ready report, without assembling it yourself. This guide covers the same five steps regardless of which accounting system you connect.
1. Connect your accounting system
Go to Integrations in the left sidebar and connect the system you use. The steps are the same shape for all three:
Zoho Books
- Click Connect on the Zoho Books card.
- Log in to Zoho and authorize Finrely to read your Books data.
- Select the organization (and data center region - .com/.eu/.in/etc.) you want to report on.
- Finrely runs an initial sync automatically. You’ll see a Synced badge once it’s done.
QuickBooks Online
- Click Connect on the QuickBooks Online card.
- Log in to Intuit and authorize Finrely.
- Select the company you want to report on.
- Finrely runs the initial sync automatically.
Xero
- Click Connect on the Xero card.
- Log in to Xero and authorize Finrely.
- Select the organization you want to report on.
- Finrely runs the initial sync automatically.
You can connect more than one source at a time (for example, accounting plus Stripe) - Finrely keeps each source’s data clearly labeled rather than silently blending them.
2. Explore your Dashboard
Your Dashboard gives you the headline numbers at a glance: Cash Position, Net Cash Generated, Cash Health, Revenue, and your overall Data Quality score. Everything here is built from your connected accounting data - nothing is estimated or backfilled without a visible note.
3. Run your reports
Under Reports, you’ll find:
- P&L Statement - revenue, expenses, margin, by month.
- Balance Sheet - assets, liabilities, equity.
- Cash Flow - inflows, outflows, and projected balance.
Every report has a currency switcher (for example AED/USD/EUR/GBP) - pick the presentation currency without touching your books.
4. Check your Data Quality score
Finrely scores your connected data across five pillars: source coverage, data freshness, accounting basis, analytic depth, and account structure. This is what lets Finrely tell you - and anyone you share a report with - exactly how much to trust each number, instead of quietly presenting everything as equally reliable.
5. Generate AI Insights
AI Insights reads your own connected data and surfaces commentary grounded in it. It never blends in outside data, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings if you’d rather use Finrely without AI features.
6. Export a Board Pack
When you need something to send to your board, investors, or lender, go to Board Pack and generate a board-ready PDF in one click - reporting period, presentation currency, and a data-freshness note included automatically.
